My eyes watch a small seed grow.
First it is but a speck, slowing forming. Ever changing, growing, thoughts, dreams, goals. Than you see a stem, a flower, reaching out, for love, guidance, knowledge. There are little changes at first. Before your eyes, a baby, a child, a toddler, a teen. Always changing, learning, growing,thinking her own thoughts, that mix with what you have taught. She is becoming a young adult, asking questions, new situations, always needing more to widen her mind. One day you find a beautiful women in front of you. No longer that baby, that child, that young adult! It is something that takes your breath away. She is her own person. You feel proud, but yet sad. Because you now feel your part is done. To my surprise, I was wrong, this child now a women, still needs answers, guidance, love, understanding, caring only in a different way. So, again, that feeling I felt of loss, becomes something else. A daughter is an extension of her Mom, as a Mom in some ways is the extension of her daughter. Also living, learning, enjoying what each is doing and sharing, forever sharing-LOVE
You are most special, warm, loving, caring, giving and very beautiful in
body, soul and mind.
